We offer a free, 30-day trial of the single user version of Respondus 4 only. This is the best way for individual instructors to try all features and functionality with their learning management system. To get started, simply download the single-user version of Respondus 4 and follow the instructions to register for the 30-day trial.
Flexible License Options
There are two ways to purchase Respondus 4:
- Single User: A single user license can be purchased online by individual instructors.
- Campus-wide License: A campus-wide license (described below) provides unlimited use by all faculty at the institution.
Campus-wide License Pricing
Licenses renew annually on August 1. Institutions outside of North America are permitted to have a license that renews on January 1. For higher education institutions, the annual fee is based on total Student FTE, as reported by IPEDS. Pricing tiers are listed below.

Price Quote
If you would like a formal price quote, email [email protected] and include your institution name and student FTE. Annual fees are pro-rated on academic year; request a quote to obtain the current prorate. All prices in U.S. Dollars and subject to change.
License Agreement
To obtain a campus-wide license, institutions must fill out the License Agreement and return it with a purchase order number or payment.
