Help Center is an extension of the Respondus Technical Support service that provides an in-product means for troubleshooting technical issues, or simply checking whether the technology is functioning properly. For example, Help Center can be accessed within the LockDown Browser application and it enables users to analyze their networking environment and computing device as it relates to LockDown Browser. In addition to running analytic tests and generating log files, Help Center enables a user to email the information to an address of their choosing, including Respondus Technical Support.
A Terms of Use must be accepted each time Help Center is used to send system data and log files to Respondus Technical Support or an email address of the user's choosing.
We use this information to provide you with customer and product support. The legal ground for processing this information for these purposes is Respondus' legitimate interest in providing quality product support.
Respondus may also tally, analyze, and aggregate data that is transmitted by users from Help Center. Data is made anonymous for this purpose.
