Respondus is now TX-RAMP Level 2 Certified
Respondus has obtained TX-RAMP Level 2 certification for LockDown Browser and its proctoring application Respondus Monitor.
What is TX-RAMP? The Texas Risk and Authorization Management Program (TX-RAMP) program was launched after passage of Texas Senate Bill 475. It requires the Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR) to establish “a standardized approach for security assessment, authorization, and continuous monitoring of cloud computing services that process the data of a state agency,” including institutions of higher education and public colleges.
Respondus is the first proctoring vendor for higher education to achieve TX-RAMP Level 2 certification. A list of vendors with final certification is available here.
Security and privacy are always a top priority for Respondus applications. TX-RAMP certification is a demonstration of this commitment and it complements our Privacy by Design approach to software development. Respondus is also SOC 2 certified and participates in the HECVAT program by EDUCAUSE.
