Respondus 4.0 is a Windows application that makes it easy to create assessments and then publish them to your learning management system. Exams in other formats, such as MS Word, QTI and rich-text can also be imported with minimal adjustments.
Respondus 4 supports 15 question types, including calculated and algorithmic formats. You can insert mathematic and scientific symbols using the Respondus Equation Editor or MathType, or add enhanced formatting to questions (bulleted lists, tables, fonts, images, web links, etc.).

Respondus 4.0 lets you retrieve an exam from an online course and then publish to another course – or to an entirely different learning system.* You can also retrieve an exam from an online course and save it to a printable format, such as MS Word. With Respondus 4.0, you can preview the exam and select exam settings before publishing it to your online course. All formatting, equations and media files are uploaded with the assessment. A “batch publish” feature allows exams or surveys to be published to multiple courses in a single step*. You can also print exams directly from the Respondus application, or save files to MS Word or rich-text format.
